Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on her social media account on December 16, 2025, addressing border security, healthcare policy, and the Department of Justice’s actions regarding former President Trump.
In her first post at 16:42 UTC, Tenney stated: “For seven straight months, ZERO illegal aliens were released into the country. This is what the American people demanded: a secure border, enforcement of the law, & an end to catch and release. @POTUS and @HouseGOP are just getting started. “
Later that day at 17:43 UTC, she criticized Democratic Party policies on healthcare funding: “Dems insist on propping up a broken system that they created with BILLIONS more in taxpayer dollars. Republicans are delivering a smarter alternative that expands private insurance options, increases choice for workers and small businesses, strengthens employer coverage,&”
At 18:52 UTC on the same day, Tenney commented on recent revelations concerning the Department of Justice’s handling of an investigation involving former President Trump: “Wow. Biden’s DOJ pushed the Mar-a-Lago raid even after the FBI warned probable cause was weak and the evidence was thin. They IGNORED those warnings and weaponized the federal government against President Trump. This cannot be brushed aside, accountability must follow.”
Claudia Tenney has been active in public service for over a decade. Before joining Congress in 2021—where she succeeded Anthony Brindisi—she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua at age 62, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and the University of Cincinnati (JD).
