Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district, addressed several issues in a series of posts on July 24, 2025, ranging from manufacturing legislation to concerns about election integrity and international human rights.

In her first post at 19:02 UTC, Tenney announced the reintroduction of legislation aimed at supporting domestic manufacturing. She wrote, “The FORKS Made in America Permanency Act ensures our troops are using American-made stainless steel flatware, not cheap imports. I reintroduced this legislation to support U.S. jobs, boost NY manufacturing, & strengthen national security.”

Later that evening at 20:37 UTC, Tenney raised concerns about alleged voter fraud in New York City. She stated, “Dead people are voting in New York City. Absentee ballots were cast in the names of voters who died over a decade ago, in a race decided by just 32 votes. This is what voter fraud looks like. Every illegal vote cancels out a legal one. This must be investigated & prosecuted”.

At 21:53 UTC the same day, Tenney commented on an international incident involving Kosovo police and an individual named Igor Popović. She posted, “I am deeply concerned about the unjust arrest of Igor Popović by Kosovo police. @POTUS and @SecRubio have made it clear that Freedom of Speech is an essential human right that must be upheld. I call upon @VjosaOsmaniPRKS to immediately release Mr. Popović and end his wrongful”.

Claudia Tenney has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi and previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua, she holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and the University of Cincinnati (JD).
