On January 12, Tenney commented on the latest economic figures: “Promising news! GDP growth is topping 5% after back-to-back quarters above 4%. Real growth means more hiring, better pay, & stronger small businesses. After the economic disaster of the Biden era, @POTUS’s economy is moving America back in the right direction.”
Later that day, she criticized Democratic lawmakers’ stance on immigration enforcement: “REMEMBER: These violent thugs are who Democrats defend every time they attack ICE officers for enforcing the law. “

Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th District in Congress since defeating Anthony Brindisi in 2021. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016 and holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati. Born in New Hartford in 1961, she currently resides in Canandaigua.
