Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, recently posted several statements on her Twitter account addressing election integrity, national security concerns, and state politics.

On August 5, 2025, Tenney commented on a federal court decision involving Texas and the Department of Justice: “A big win for election integrity! The Biden DOJ tried to stop Texas from verifying voter identities. A federal court just shut them down. Texas is right: Mail-in ballots must be secure, and voter ID is common sense. Other states should follow.”

The following day, August 6, 2025, Tenney raised concerns about an individual she described as a “paid protestor”: “This paid protestor is openly saying he wants to become the LEADER of Hamas. Let that sink in. He even refused to say if he was a citizen. @Sec_Noem @DHSgov @FBIDirectorKash please monitor this individual closely. If he’s an illegal immigrant, he should be deported!”

Later that same day, Tenney referenced New York Governor Kathy Hochul in another post: “Kathy Hochul has been doing this for years!”

Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021 and previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and the University of Cincinnati (JD).
