Rep. Claudia Tenney, who represents New York’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of issues in a series of posts on her official social media account.

On December 8, 2025, Tenney commented on national gas prices, stating, “FINALLY: Families are seeing real relief at the pump. Gas is below $3 in 37 states. Below $2.75 in 22 states. Below $2.50 in five states. This is what recovery looks like after Biden’s energy disaster. Under @POTUS, prices are trending even lower.”

Later that day, she raised concerns about alleged misuse of taxpayer funds in Minnesota and criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar’s record, writing on December 8, “Democrat run states like Minnesota have fraud so widespread that taxpayer money is ending up in the hands of terrorist groups. Ilhan Omar denies knowing anything, but make no mistake: her record in Congress fueled this disaster.”

The following day, December 9, Tenney focused on safety for federal agents and accused New York State Assembly member Zohran Mamdani of endangering law enforcement officers with his rhetoric: “Mamdani is encouraging New Yorkers to vilify the agents who keep our communities safe. Violent attacks on ICE are up 1,200 % & death threats 8,000%. These agents have families. Mamdani KNOWS this rhetoric puts them in danger.”

Claudia Tenney has served as a U.S. Representative since 2021 after previously holding office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. She was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently resides in Canandaigua at age 62. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University (1983) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati (1987).
