The next morning, Tenney criticized Democratic messaging regarding healthcare coverage: “Democrats won’t focus on reality. Instead, they push lies like “millions will lose healthcare.”

Claudia Tenney began serving New York’s 24th congressional district after replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Prior to her current role in Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua at age 62, Tenney holds a BA from Colgate University (1983) and a JD from the University of Cincinnati (1987).
