Claudia Tenney, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th District, actively uses social media to discuss key issues and recognize notable community contributions. Tenney, who assumed office in 2021 after serving in the New York State Assembly, recently addressed several topics on her Twitter account.
In a recent post on March 27, 2025, Tenney highlighted the release of “at least 7 illegal immigrants charged with crimes, such as child rape & fentanyl trafficking” by local law enforcement in Massachusetts. On the same day, she warned of potential economic impacts if certain tax policies were not extended. Tenney expressed concern that should “the Trump Tax Cuts expire, hardworking families could face a 25% tax increase,” while small businesses might see their taxes rise significantly without the renewal of the “199A Small Business Deduction” (“If the Trump Tax Cuts expire, hardworking families could face a 25% tax increase, while 26 million small businesses may see their tax rate rise to 43.4% if the 199A Small Business Deduction is not renewed.
