Rep. Claudia Tenney, who represents New York’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing public safety, U.S. foreign policy, and international trade developments.
On July 29, 2025, Tenney commented on law enforcement challenges, writing, “While radical Democrats like Zohran Mamdani vilify our police, courageous NYPD officers put their lives on the line to protect our communities. Yesterday’s shooting reminds us of the daily dangers they face.”
Later that day, she addressed nuclear security concerns involving Iran and referenced former President Donald Trump’s approach: “President Trump made it clear: Iran must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. The safety of America, our allies, and the entire world depends on it. Trump wiped out their nuclear program and is ready to do it again if needed. Peace through strength is back.”
In a subsequent post focused on international trade relations with Europe, Tenney stated: “President Trump just delivered another major victory for America. This EU deal slashes tariffs on U.S. exports, opens closed markets, boosts U.S. energy, and forces Europe to buy American, not from hostile foreign nations. A masterclass in dealmaking that puts our farmers,”
Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th District in Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. She was born in New Hartford in 1961 and resides in Canandaigua. Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and the University of Cincinnati (JD).
