Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, recently expressed her views on government operations, small business taxation, and national security through a series of tweets. Tenney, who has been active in politics for several years and holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati, voiced her opinions on March 10, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 15:15 UTC on March 10, Rep. Claudia Tenney stated her perspective on government management by emphasizing the need for efficiency: “We have to stop running the government like a charity & start running it like a business.”

Later that day, at 16:20 UTC, Tenney addressed issues concerning small businesses in New York in light of Governor Hochul’s policies. She announced legislative action aimed at protecting these businesses from financial burdens related to federal unemployment insurance loans: “Small businesses should not pay the price for Governor Hochul’s irresponsibility. I introduced the Protecting Small Businesses from Imposed Tax Hikes Act to ensure that the repayment of federal UI loans will not cost New York’s small businesses.”

At 20:38 UTC on March 10, Rep. Tenney turned her attention to national security concerns by calling for legislative measures against individuals associated with terrorist organizations residing in the United States: “The United States will no longer tolerate terrorist sympathizers residing in our country. We must immediately take up the No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act to ensure anyone associated with Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad is immediately removed from the country.”
