On February 5, 2025, Rep. Tenney expressed her support for former President Donald Trump as a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize due to his role in establishing the Abraham Accords. She stated: “No one is more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize than President Donald Trump.” Tenney highlighted Trump’s contribution to peace in the Middle East through these accords.
Later that day, she acknowledged National Girls and Women in Sports Day by emphasizing the importance of sports in developing leadership skills among young women. She tweeted: “On #NationalGirlsAndWomenInSportsDay, we celebrate the profound impact sports have on young women and our society.” She noted that a significant percentage of female executives had participated in sports during their youth.
In another post from February 5, 2025, Rep. Tenney discussed foreign policy matters related to Iran. She criticized what she described as “the Biden administration’s Iran-First Foreign Policy” and expressed her efforts to reinstate Trump’s Maximum Pressure Campaign against Iran’s government entities like IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). Her statement read: “Following the Biden administration’s Iran-First Foreign Policy, I led the charge to restore Trump’s Maximum Pressure Campaign.”
