Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 24th district, continues to express her views on various national issues via her social media platform. On April 16, 2025, she addressed topics ranging from legal challenges faced by a prominent attorney general, to the nature of women’s sports, and measures addressing anti-Semitism.

In a statement made on April 16, 2025, Tenney commented on legal developments involving New York Attorney General Letitia James, suggesting that James has persistently targeted former President Trump with legal actions. She stated, “New York AG Letitia James has been waging political lawfare against President Trump for years, desperately grasping at straws to take him down. Now, she’s facing serious mortgage fraud allegations for lying on loan applications. No one is above the law, Tish — not even you.”

Later the same day, Tenney expressed her views on the involvement of biological males in women’s sports. In an April 16 post, she argued that women’s sports should be exclusively for women. She shared her participation with the GOP Women’s Caucus in advocating for USA Fencing to reconsider a decision affecting athlete Stephanie Turner. Tenney stated, “It should be commonsense: Women’s sports are for Women ONLY. I joined my @GOPWomensCaucus colleagues in calling for USA Fencing to reevaluate the unjust disqualification of athlete Stephanie Turner, who refused to compete against a biological male.”

In another post from April 16, Tenney addressed a legislative measure concerning anti-Semitism, specifically targeting the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. She highlighted a legislative act that prohibits federal contracts with companies that endorse the BDS initiative. Tenney declared, “The Countering Hate Against Israel by Federal Contractors Act bans the federal government from entering into contracts with entities that support the radical, anti-Semitic BDS movement. This sends a clear message: America stands against anti-Semitism & remains committed to.”

Claudia Tenney, born in 1961 in New Hartford, New York, has served in Congress since 2021. She previously was a member of the New York State Assembly and has an educational background from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
