Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, recently shared her views on social media regarding local law enforcement and international relations. Tenney, who previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016, expressed her concerns over policies she perceives as detrimental to public safety and reiterated her support for international alliances.
On June 17, 2025, Claudia Tenney criticized New York’s approach to law enforcement in a tweet. She stated: “Welcome to New York, where criminals walk free & local law enforcement gets investigated by the AG for doing their job.” She further remarked that “AG James’ anti-police, pro-criminal policies are a disgrace to our state.”

In another post at the same time on June 17, she addressed international relations with Israel and Iran. Tenney declared: “The US is unwavering in our support for Israel as it permanently dismantles Iran’s nuclear program & exercises its right to self-defense.” She emphasized that her resolution communicates a strong message about the U.S.-Israel alliance being unshakable and supported President Trump’s stance that “Iran must never be able to.”
Claudia Tenney was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently resides in Canandaigua. A graduate of Colgate University with a BA and holding a JD from the University of Cincinnati earned in 1987, she continues to serve actively in Congress.
