Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district, shared several updates through her social media account regarding recent engagements and legislative positions.

On May 18, 2025, Rep. Tenney expressed gratitude to the New York Farm Bureau for awarding her the Friend of the Farm Award. She stated, “Thank you to the New York Farm Bureau for awarding me the Friend of the Farm Award! It was a pleasure to meet with members of NYFB & farmers from across the Finger Lakes to discuss issues facing our farmers in NY-24.”

The following day, on May 19, she voiced her stance against what she referred to as “One Big Beautiful Bill.” In her post, she highlighted that a vote against this bill would be detrimental by stating it opposes various measures including preventing tax hikes and deporting criminal illegal immigrants. She emphasized its importance by listing its components: “A vote against the One Big Beautiful Bill is a vote against: – Preventing the largest tax hike in American History – Deporting criminal illegal immigrants – Unleashing American Energy – Eliminating waste, fraud, & abuse – Implementing President Trump’s America First Agenda.”

Later that day, Rep. Tenney discussed her meeting with members of @TruckingAssocNY about challenges faced by truckers in America. She acknowledged their crucial role in supply chains and committed to addressing industry concerns such as staffing shortages and infrastructure support. Her tweet read: “It was a pleasure to meet with the @TruckingAssocNY to discuss the issues facing our country’s truckers. Truckers are essential to our supply chains & I am working diligently to address staffing shortages, improve working conditions, & support our transportation infrastructure.”

Claudia Tenney has been serving since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021 and has previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016.
