Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district, has recently shared her views and legislative intentions through a series of tweets. The congresswoman addressed issues ranging from immigration enforcement to media funding.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Tenney emphasized the need for adequate resources for ICE agents to implement President Trump’s immigration executive orders. She stated that she and Rep. Langworthy are “urging Sec. Hegseth to authorize the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station to assist ICE in detaining & deporting criminal illegal aliens.” “We must ensure our ICE agents have the resources necessary to carry out President Trump’s immigration executive orders.”

Later that day, Rep. Tenney praised President Trump’s diplomatic efforts with Mexico and Canada regarding border security measures against fentanyl trafficking. She noted that his leadership had led both countries to commit to enhancing their security protocols on their respective sides of the border. “President Trump’s strong & steadfast leadership has brought Mexico and Canada to the negotiation table.”

On February 4, 2025, Rep. Tenney announced her intention to introduce legislation aimed at defunding NPR and PBS, arguing that taxpayers should not be required to support what she described as a partisan entity. “American taxpayers should not be forced to fund NPR, which has become a partisan propaganda machine.”
