On May 6, 2025, Tenney announced the introduction of the No Subsidies for Gender Transition Procedures Act, aimed at preventing federal funds from being used for gender transition surgeries. She stated that this measure could potentially save taxpayers $200 million.
In another post on the same day, Tenney commented on the current state of the economy under President Trump’s leadership. She noted that prices are down on groceries, energy, and prescription drugs.
