Claudia Tenney, currently serving as a U.S. Congress representative for New York’s 24th district, has recently shared several statements on her social media platform. These posts cover topics ranging from proposed legislation to economic developments and international diplomacy.
On May 6, 2025, Tenney announced the introduction of the No Subsidies for Gender Transition Procedures Act, aimed at preventing federal funds from being used for gender transition surgeries. She stated that this measure could potentially save taxpayers $200 million.
In another post on the same day, Tenney commented on the current state of the economy under President Trump’s leadership. She noted that prices are down on groceries, energy, and prescription drugs. Tenney credited these economic improvements to groundwork laid by President Trump and mentioned efforts by House Republicans to build on this progress with forthcoming legislation.
Later that day, Tenney expressed approval of recent actions taken regarding U.S. diplomatic missions in Jerusalem. She claimed that the Biden administration’s Office of Palestinian Affairs undermined Israel and emboldened Hamas. She thanked Senator Rubio and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel for dissolving this entity and reaffirming the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem as the sole diplomatic mission there.
Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Before her current role, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York, she holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
