Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving as the U.S. Congresswoman for New York’s 24th district, has recently shared her views and activities on social media. The following are highlights from her recent tweets.
On June 8, 2025, Rep. Tenney tweeted about joining the Crosby Convenience Store team for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Town of Byron. She expressed gratitude to the Reid family and Crosby’s staff for their service to NY-24.
In a tweet posted on June 9, 2025, she criticized attempts by “The Left” to portray violent riots as peaceful protests. She emphasized that actions such as hurling rocks at law enforcement and setting fires are not peaceful but rather lawless and violent.
Later that day, Rep. Tenney highlighted the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which aligns with President Trump’s agenda items including no tax on tips or overtime, expanding Trump Tax Cuts, boosting American energy production, and completing the border wall.
Claudia Tenney has been representing New York’s 24th district since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Prior to this role, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and residing in Canandaigua now at age 62, Tenney is an alumna of Colgate University and holds a JD from the University of Cincinnati.
