Rep. Claudia Tenney, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, shared her perspectives on several key legislative and defense issues through a series of tweets on May 21, 2025.
In her first tweet, Tenney highlighted the objectives of “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” which aims to fulfill former President Trump’s agenda by “Funding the largest deportation effort in history,” achieving significant mandatory savings, delivering substantial tax cuts for working-class Americans, and securing no taxes on tips and overtime.
Later that day, Tenney emphasized the importance of President Trump’s Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield. She stated that “The One Big Beautiful Bill includes a $25 BILLION investment into this cutting-edge technology,” urging for its immediate passage to enhance defense capabilities and security mechanisms.
In another tweet posted on the same day, Tenney criticized President Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. She noted that it “cost 13 service members their lives” and expressed support for an investigation initiated by the Trump administration to hold those responsible accountable.
Claudia Tenney was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently resides in Canandaigua. She holds a BA from Colgate University and a JD from the University of Cincinnati. Before serving in Congress, she was part of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016.
