Rep. Claudia Tenney, chair of the Election Integrity Caucus and U.S. Representative for New York’s 24th district, recently posted a series of statements on her official Twitter account addressing election integrity and honoring a local veteran.
On July 18, 2025, Tenney wrote, “Only American citizens should decide American elections. As chair of the Election Integrity Caucus, I introduced a resolution to add a Constitutional amendment to prohibit non-citizens from voting at any level, federal, state, or local. No exceptions.”
The following day, July 19, she honored Rick Parsons in another post: “Rick Parsons was an American hero, serving two tours in Vietnam & becoming the only wing commander to score an aerial victory in Desert Storm. His legacy lives on through his family & in our community in NY-24. I was honored to celebrate his remarkable life on the House floor”.
Later that same day, Tenney addressed legislation related to election procedures: “The Promoting Free and Fair Elections Act stops federal agencies from partnering with activist groups to conduct voter registration or mobilization efforts using your tax dollars. I reintroduced this legislation to protect election integrity & keep our elections free & fair.”
Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th District in Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
