Rep. Claudia Tenney, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, shared her views on election security and sports enthusiasm in a series of posts on February 10, 2026.

In her first post of the day, Tenney referenced her experience as an election observer abroad: “I was an election observer in Honduras. Voter ID, proof of residency, biometrics, and citizenship were required. Developing nations demand proof before voting; America has no excuse not to. SECURE elections matter.” (February 10, 2026).

Later that afternoon, she shifted focus to curling and Team USA’s participation in international competition: “I was a Curler before it was cool, and I’m STILL a huge fan! Team USA Mixed Doubles is competing for GOLD today. Let’s bring it home! https://t.co/Bw61EJL0Db” (February 10, 2026).

Returning to electoral issues in the evening, Tenney commented on recent political developments in New York: “Gov. Hochul just picked a running mate who voted to allow non-citizens to vote in NYC elections. This is exactly why we must advance the SAFE America Act, to protect our elections from radical Democrats who want to dilute the voices of American citizens.” (February 10, 2026).

Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th District since defeating Anthony Brindisi in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua at age 62, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
