Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district, has shared several updates on social media highlighting recent legislative and executive actions. These posts reflect her support for initiatives she believes align with American interests and her appreciation for military families.

On May 8, 2025, Rep. Tenney announced that the House GOP had passed legislation to codify President Trump’s Executive Order to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. She expressed satisfaction with this legislative action, emphasizing “Promises Made = Promises Kept”.

Later that day, she commended President Biden’s efforts to prioritize America’s interests through significant trade deals aimed at bolstering the economy and national security. She highlighted these achievements as a substantial victory for American manufacturers and farmers, stating “there is only more winning to come!”.

In another post on May 8, 2025, Rep. Tenney expressed gratitude towards President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden for hosting military mothers at the White House. As a mother of an active-duty Marine named Trey, she conveyed her honor and appreciation for her son’s service to the nation by thanking them “for welcoming military mothers to the White House today.”

Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Her political career includes previous service in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961, she resides in Canandaigua and holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
