Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, recently shared several statements on her official Twitter account addressing legislative developments and political issues.
On January 21, 2026, Tenney announced the passage of a bill she co-led in the House: “HUGE: The House passed the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act, legislation I co-led with @RepFischbach. Women should not be cut off from life-affirming care because of political games. This bill protects states’ authority to support mothers and strengthen”.
The following day, January 22, 2026, Tenney commented on recent protests, stating: “Good. Many of these protests are strategically engineered, funded, and escalated by dark-money networks intent on division. Nekima Levy Armstrong has a long record as a professional agitator in this ecosystem & should be fully held accountable for her role coordinating an attack https://t.co/H1jLY5ut7W”.
Later that same day, she posted another message criticizing certain actions by political opponents: “Watch the left very closely:
– They attack our law enforcement.
– They invade places of worship.
– They protect violent criminals over Americans.
These choices reveal EXACTLY who they stand with.”
Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. She was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently resides in Canandaigua. Tenney graduated from Colgate University with a BA in 1983 and earned her JD from the University of Cincinnati in 1987.
