U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney, who serves New York’s 24th district, shared updates on legislative efforts and local achievements through several posts on January 14, 2026.
Tenney highlighted her participation in a congressional hearing: “Today I spoke before the @WaysandMeansGOP on my bill with @RepFischbach, the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act. This bill stands with pregnant women and parenting mothers, meeting them with real support when they need it most.” (January 14, 2026).
In another post the same day, Tenney recognized a local coach’s accomplishment: “Congrats to Chuck Nagel of Newfane High School for being named the @BuffaloBills nominee for the 2025 Don Shula Coach of the Year Award. A tremendous honor for a great leader from NY-24 and well deserved.” (January 14, 2026).
Later that evening, she commented on a recent law enforcement action in Rochester: “SICK: ICE arrested a man in Rochester who was ordered deported after brutally stabbing his own sister, yet was allowed to remain in this country for more than a decade. Thank you to our federal law enforcement for taking this VIOLENT criminal off our streets. NYrs are safer” (January 14, 2026).
Claudia Tenney has represented New York’s 24th district since defeating Anthony Brindisi in 2021. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and now residing in Canandaigua, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
