Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, used her social media platform on February 11 and 12, 2026, to highlight the passage of the SAVE America Act in the House and to discuss Republican initiatives addressing economic pressures on seniors.

On February 11, Tenney drew an analogy between lottery fraud and election security. She wrote, “Consider this. Imagine you won the lottery, only to find someone replicated your ticket, stole your identity, and claimed your prize with an invalid ID. You’d demand proof. Voting is even more sacred than that. The SAVE America Act protects our republic and keeps the power in https://t.co/DcfS41kGqY”.

The following day, she announced the House’s approval of new election legislation: “Today, the House passed the SAVE America Act to strengthen election integrity, restore confidence, and ensure only American citizens vote in federal elections. Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our constitutional republic, and voting is one of our most sacred” (February 12).

Also on February 12, Tenney addressed economic concerns affecting older Americans: “Bidenflation squeezed seniors on fixed incomes. Republicans responded with the Trump tax cuts, ending double taxation on Social Security and creating a $6,000 senior deduction. Seniors earned these benefits. They deserve to keep them.”

Tenney has served in Congress since defeating Anthony Brindisi in 2021; prior to that she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and now residing in Canandaigua at age 62, she holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and University of Cincinnati (JD).
