On March 3, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney announced her legislative proposal titled the RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria Act. She stated that this bill aims to codify Chairman Mast’s directive to refer to the West Bank as Judea & Samaria, thereby acknowledging Israel’s claim over this region. “My bill, the RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria Act, would codify Chairman Mast’s directive to only refer to the West Bank as Judea & Samaria, recognizing Israel’s rightful claim over this historically & biblically important region!”
Later that day, she expressed anticipation for Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton’s attendance at President Trump’s Joint Address.
