On June 12, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney expressed her pleasure in welcoming Graciana Allen, the winner of this year’s Congressional Art Contest from Red Creek Central School. She noted that Allen’s artwork titled “Inevitable” was unveiled in the halls of Congress. “It was a pleasure to welcome this year’s Congressional Art Contest winner, Graciana Allen, from Red Creek Central School to the Capitol to witness the unveiling of her artwork, Inevitable, in the halls of Congress.”
Later that day, Tenney reiterated her commitment to protecting Social Security for families and seniors in New York’s 24th district. She emphasized the importance of this program for millions of Americans who rely on it. “Social Security is a lifeline for many hardworking families & seniors in NY-24 & I will continue to protect this vital program for the millions of Americans who have earned it.”
In another post on June 12, Tenney criticized Governor Kathy Hochul’s leadership regarding criminal illegal gang members reportedly present in New York State prisons. She demanded details from Governor Hochul on how she plans to address this issue. “Governor Hochul admitted there are criminal illegal gang members in NYS prisons. Her failed leadership is putting NYS corrections officers, other inmates & our communities at risk.”
Claudia Tenney has been serving as a U.S. Congresswoman since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016.
