Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, who represents New York’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, has introduced her 2025 “Make Voting Great Again” Plan. The announcement was made in Oswego, New York, and is part of her ongoing efforts to strengthen election security and public trust in the voting process.
Tenney serves as the Founder and Chair of the House Election Integrity Caucus. Her legislative package aims to address several aspects of election administration. The proposed bills seek to prohibit private partisan funding for elections, ban federal agencies from conducting voter operations using taxpayer funds, and ensure that only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote.
“I am committed to working with my colleagues in the House Election Integrity Caucus to enhance the security, transparency, and efficiency of our elections,” said Congresswoman Tenney. “By implementing commonsense reforms and addressing the real concerns of voters, we can restore faith in our democratic process and ensure that every American’s vote counts.”
Tenney began representing New York’s 24th district in Congress after replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Before her current role, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961, Tenney now lives in Canandaigua at age 62. She holds a BA from Colgate University (1983) and a JD from the University of Cincinnati (1987).
