Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton has been invited by Congresswoman Claudia Tenney to attend President Trump’s upcoming Address to a Joint Session of Congress. The event is scheduled for March 4 at 9:00 P.M.

Sheriff Hilton began his career in law enforcement as a Corrections Officer with the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department in 1987. He later joined the Syracuse Police Department, where he served for two decades in various roles, including Patrol Officer and Detective Sergeant. Following this, he worked as a Federal Drug Intelligence Officer and Cold Case Homicide Investigator before being elected as Oswego County Sheriff in 2018.

Congresswoman Tenney expressed her respect for Sheriff Hilton’s dedication to public service, stating, “Sheriff Don Hilton is a highly regarded law enforcement officer from our district, and I am honored to have him join me in attending the Joint Address this year.” She emphasized that his presence at the address underscores her commitment to supporting law enforcement officers.

Sheriff Hilton also shared his appreciation for the invitation and support from Congresswoman Tenney. “I am honored to have been asked by Congresswoman Tenney to attend the Joint Address to Congress as her guest,” he said.
