Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is currently managing a mechanical failure in its central cooling system. The issue, which involves a motor, has temporarily impacted air-conditioning in certain areas of the facility.
In response, the medical center has implemented measures to ensure comfort and safety. These include using fans and portable air-conditioning units, distributing water and ice, and deploying coolers for necessary cold storage.
The facilities team is collaborating with HVAC contractors to address the problem. Repairs are anticipated to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.
“The well-being of our patients, visitors, and staff remains our top priority,” stated the medical center. “We appreciate your understanding as our team works diligently to restore full cooling as quickly as possible.”
