Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) held its 20th annual black-tie event, The Premier 2025, raising over $118,690 in support of its Cardiac Services. The event took place at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino under the theme “A Night in the Emerald City.” The celebration marked Memorial’s emerald anniversary, drawing more than 700 participants, including notable community figures and supporters from Western New York.
The proceeds are intended to enhance the growth and development of NFMMC’s Cardiac Services, aiming to improve heart health treatments and care in the Niagara area. Individuals recognized for their contributions to the Niagara community included Bob DiFrancesco, who posthumously received the Nancy Gara Spirit Award, and Dr. Sachin Wadhawan, Chief of Cardiology, honored with the Physicians Award.
The event was hosted by Maryalice Demler from WGRZ-TV and Pastor Craig Pridgen of True Bethel Baptist Church, featuring entertainment by the Emerald City Band.
NFMMC, established in 1895, has a history of community service. It operates a variety of accredited healthcare services, including a cardiac/stroke unit and a primary care network. Its partnerships enhance facilities like the only cardiac catheterization laboratory in Niagara County.
