Claudia Tenney, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 24th district since 2021, has taken to social media to express gratitude and discuss various issues impacting her constituency. Tenney, who replaced Anthony Brindisi in Congress, shared a series of tweets over two days that highlight both personal and professional engagements.
On June 15, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney extended warm wishes on Father’s Day to fathers across her district. She acknowledged their role by stating “Happy Father’s Day to the devoted dads across NY-24! Your leadership, love, & unwavering commitment to your families help build stronger communities & a stronger nation. We’re grateful for everything you do.”
Later that day, Tenney expressed appreciation towards individuals involved in New York’s dairy industry. She noted her meeting with local producers by saying “Thank you to Zack & Denille Glaus of Upstate Niagara Cooperative & Andrew Schwieterman of Dairy Farmers of America for joining me to discuss the state of New York’s dairy industry. I will continue to stand with our hardworking farmers & producers across NY-24!”
The following day on June 16, she addressed a significant public health concern regarding fentanyl. In a tweet discussing legislative action, she remarked “Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45. @HouseGOP recently passed the HALT Fentanyl Act to permanently schedule fentanyl variants as Schedule I substances & give law enforcement the tools to keep this deadly drug off our streets.”
Claudia Tenney was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and currently resides in Canandaigua. She holds a BA from Colgate University and earned her JD from the University of Cincinnati.
