Rep. Claudia Tenney, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, recently used her social media platform to discuss current political developments and express support for former President Donald Trump.
On October 8, 2025, Tenney announced her appearance on a media program to address government funding issues, posting: “Catch me on with @TimRunsHisMouth today at 1:30PM ET to discuss the Democrat Shutdown! https://t.co/Xdx3XGux5b”.
The following day, Tenney commented on the release of hostages, crediting former President Trump for the development. She wrote on October 9, 2025: “Thanks to President Trump a deal has been reached to release all the remaining hostages, including two U.S. citizens, Omer Neutra & Itay Chen. This agreement is a first step to delivering relief to families & set a path toward lasting peace. President Trump is the President of https://t.co/ZuY7ETDu8X”.
Later that same day, Tenney referenced the upcoming Nobel Peace Prize announcement and reiterated her support for Donald Trump as a candidate. She stated: “In the coming days, the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winners will be announced. While there is great work being done around the world, nobody has done more for world peace than President Trump. I have personally nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize (Twice) and my”.
Tenney’s recent posts reflect her ongoing engagement in national political debates and her continued endorsement of former President Trump’s actions in foreign policy and international peace efforts.
Claudia Tenney has served in Congress representing New York’s 24th District since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi. She previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961, she currently resides in Canandaigua. Tenney holds a BA from Colgate University and a JD from the University of Cincinnati.
