Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congress representative for New York’s 24th district, recently shared her views on several national issues through a series of tweets. Serving in Congress since 2021, Tenney has been vocal about her support for policies enacted during President Trump’s administration.
On June 2, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney tweeted “The Washington Post is doing everything it can to avoid giving President Trump the credit he deserves.” She highlighted that under Trump’s leadership, “fentanyl trafficking at the Southern Border decreased by 54%,” attributing this change to effective border policies.
The following day, on June 3, 2025, she noted in another tweet “Since President Trump took office, egg prices have dropped by 61%!” Tenney emphasized Trump’s commitment to making eggs affordable again and praised him for fulfilling his promise.
Later on June 3, Tenney outlined key aspects of a legislative initiative known as the One Big Beautiful Bill. In her tweet “The One Big Beautiful Bill is about putting working Americans first,” she detailed proposals including middle-class tax cuts and pro-growth incentives for small businesses while advocating for no taxes on tips or overtime.
Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since replacing Anthony Brindisi in 2021. Before her congressional tenure, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford, New York in 1961, Tenney holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
