On July 13, 2025, Rep. Tenney reflected on the one-year anniversary of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. She stated: “One year ago today, President Trump faced an assassination attempt in Butler, PA. A bullet grazed his ear, & by the grace of God, he survived.
Today, please join me in honoring his unparalleled perseverance & commitment to the values that define our great country.
NEVER”.
Later that day, Rep. Tenney reported her office’s constituent services for the year to date: “Our office has closed 1,500+ cases & returned over $18.5 million to NY-24 constituents this year alone.

Born in New Hartford in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua, she holds degrees from Colgate University (BA) and the University of Cincinnati (JD).
