Rep. Claudia Tenney, who represents New York’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on her social media account on August 29, 2025, addressing various political issues and figures.

In her first post of the day, Tenney criticized Zohran Mamdani, stating: “Zohran Mamdani has spent years fighting for left wing fringe ideas. His agenda calls for decriminalizing drugs & prostitution, releasing criminals, & giving illegals voting rights. We cannot afford to hand NYC to a lunatic who puts socialism over the safety & security of New” (August 29, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Tenney turned her attention to New York Attorney General Letitia James. She wrote: “Remember: Crooked Letitia James abused the law with a sham case and an unlawful bond charging President Trump over $110,000 per day. She must be disbarred and removed immediately.” (August 29, 2025).

In another post that same day, Tenney commented on immigration policy: “Turns out reining in illegal immigration means higher wages for Americans. Who could’ve guessed?” (August 29, 2025).

Claudia Tenney has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Born in New Hartford in 1961 and currently residing in Canandaigua, she holds degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
