Rep. Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 24th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on October 9, 2025, supporting former President Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize and commenting on recent actions against domestic groups in the United States.
In her first post, Tenney expressed agreement with the Israeli Prime Minister and advocated for Trump’s recognition by the Nobel Committee: “.@IsraeliPM 100% agree!
President Trump’s peace-through-strength leadership brought stability to the Middle East when few thought it possible.
No one deserves the Nobel Peace Prize more than the man who delivered historic results where others only talked.” (October 9, 2025).
Later that day, she reiterated her support for Trump’s nomination: “The Nobel Committee will announce its 2025 Peace Prize winners in the coming days.
I urge them to recognize President Donald J. Trump; the leader who has delivered real, lasting peace in the Middle East. I’ve nominated him twice. He deserves this honor.

In a subsequent statement, Tenney addressed domestic security measures: “Antifa’s leaders are on the run.
@POTUS ’s crackdown on domestic terrorist networks is working. The same so-called “anti-fascists” who terrorized American cities are now fleeing the country.
Law and order is BACK.” (October 9, 2025).
Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since 2021 and previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. She was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and resides in Canandaigua. Tenney holds a BA from Colgate University and a JD from the University of Cincinnati.
