On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Niagara-Wheatfield Senior High School standout Elanna Lysiak’s current college team, the St. John’s Red Storm, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.

The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Red Storm’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Bailey Park against Kennesaw State Owls.
