Niagara County Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services - National Child Traumatic Stress Network

115

Here are some resources (and more are available) from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network on how parents/ caregivers can help youth after a shooting/violent event. Information is available below in both English and Spanish. You may also visit

https://www.nctsn.org/ for more resources and information. The recent heinous events locally and in other areas of our country can be very difficult to process at any age. If you or someone you know are struggling and are in need of crisis support, please reach out to our Niagara  County Crisis Services 24-Hour phone line at (716) 285-3515 for free, confidential support, guidance, information and referral.
