Claudia Tenney, a member of the U.S. Congress serving New York’s 24th district, has been active on social media recently, highlighting her concerns and advocacy efforts. Representing the district since 2021 after succeeding Anthony Brindisi, she engages with her constituents on a variety of topics, including education, border security, and election integrity.
On April 24, 2025, Tenney criticized New York Democrats for focusing on gender ideologies in schools despite low student proficiency in math and reading. She stated, “Less than a third of NY students are proficient in math & reading, yet NY Democrats are fixated on teaching woke gender ideologies in schools.” Tenney emphasized her action by revealing that she sent a letter to New York Attorney General Letitia James and Commissioner Betty A. Rosa, demanding compliance with a directive from former President Trump.
Later the same day, she praised former President Trump’s efforts in immigration control. She stated, “President Trump is working at a record-breaking pace to secure our borders & deport criminal illegal aliens.” Highlighting a significant reduction in the catch-and-release policy, she credited a stark decrease under Trump’s administration compared to its peak during Biden’s presidency.
In another post, Tenney briefly commented on voting matters, writing, “There’s not just a problem – there’s 21! One citizen = One vote!” This statement alludes to issues related to election processes, reinforcing her stance on electoral integrity.
Claudia Tenney, born in New Hartford, New York, currently resides in Canandaigua. With an educational background that includes degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016 before her current role in Congress.
