Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Military Service Academy nominations. Students from New York’s 24th Congressional District who wish to attend one of these academies can apply for a Congressional Nomination through her office.

In the previous year, Tenney nominated 16 students from her district to the United States Military Service Academies. As a U.S. House Representative, she can nominate candidates to four of the five service academies: U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY; U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD; U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO; and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY.

Attending a service academy requires a commitment to serve in the military for at least five years after graduation.

Those interested in applying can find necessary forms and documents on Tenney’s website or contact her Oswego office at (315) 236-7088 for more information.
