Niagara County issued the following announcement on April 9.
The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County.
“We regretfully had three more county residents pass away from COVID-19 since our report yesterday morning,” said Niagara County Public Health Director Daniel Stapleton. “All of Niagara County sends our condolences to these families.”
Stapleton said the deceased were:
69-year-old male with underlying health conditions
90-year-old female with underlying health conditions
82-year-old female without underlying health conditions
The overall Niagara County update:
- 11 new positive cases
- Total of 166 to date
- 100 positive individuals in isolation
- 81 isolating at home
- 19 in hospital isolation
- 62 people have recovered
- 4 deaths
- 156 people in quarantine
- 158 completed quarantines
