Later that same day, Tenney spoke about her engagement with local community activities. She expressed her "Honored to have attended the Oswego County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs Annual Banquet, where I joined members in discussing the importance of hunting, fishing, trapping, & shooting sports & encouraging the next generation to be stewards of our great outdoors." Claudia Tenney, 62, born in New Hartford, New York, in 1961, currently resides in Canandaigua. She graduated from Colgate University in 1983 with a BA and earned a JD from the University of Cincinnati in 1987.
