Michelle Johnson: A pillar of service in Rochester's TCB Warehouse and Hamlin community

Michelle Johnson, Office and Human Resource Manager at TCB Warehouse in Rochester, also holds several positions within the Town of Hamlin. She has served as the Senior Citizen Coordinator for 12 years and as the Hilton Parma Fire District Secretary for the Town of Parma for 27 years. Ms. Johnson is also a health coach, guiding individuals towards their health goals and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.

Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Johnson is an integral part of the Hamlin community, volunteering for nearly four decades. She has been President of the Walker Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for over 18 years and a member of the group for more than 38 years. In addition to this, she has served as Secretary and Deputy Treasurer of the Walker Fire Department for six years.

Ms. Johnson also contributes to various committees such as the Wheel Fest Committee, Farm Fest Committee, and Hamlin Cultural Committee. She organizes fundraising events benefiting the Volunteers of the Walker Fire Department.

In recognition of her significant contributions to Hamlin, Ms. Johnson received the Extra Mile Award in 2018. This award acknowledges community members who have made exceptional contributions to their town. Her involvement extends to all aspects of town life where she raises awareness and supports local organizations.

A notable achievement was her assistance in dedicating the Hamlin Library to her mother, Carolyn, who played a crucial role in establishing it in the town.

As Chair of the Hamlin Republican Committee, Ms. Johnson is one of only a few women who have held this position. She has been part of this committee for ten years and previously held roles as Secretary and Deputy Chair.

Born and raised in Hamlin, Ms. Johnson takes pride in serving seniors and residents in her community alongside her husband Mark with whom she has raised two daughters - Bailey and Amber.
