Tenney invites Vietnam veterans to pinning ceremony in Wayne County

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney is extending an invitation to Vietnam veterans and their families for a commemorative pinning ceremony in Wayne County. The event aims to honor the service of Vietnam veterans, offering them a formal "Welcome Home."

Previously, Tenney honored 30 Vietnam veterans at a similar event in Oswego. She expressed enthusiasm about bringing this recognition to the Finger Lakes Region, highlighting the importance of acknowledging the contributions of Vietnam veterans from this community. During the upcoming ceremony, Tenney will present attendees with a commemorative Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin as a token of national gratitude for their service.

The details for those wishing to be recognized at the event are as follows:

The Vietnam Pinning Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, October 18th, 2024, at 11 AM. It will take place at Lyons VFW, located at 202 Geneva St, Lyons, NY 14489. Veterans interested in participating are requested to RSVP by contacting the Victor District Office at (585) 869-2060 and providing their name, rank, dates of service, and branch of the military.
