Rep. Claudia Tenney, serving in the U.S. Congress for New York’s 24th District since 2021, shared her views on various topics through a series of tweets on April 19, 2025.

On April 19, 2025, Tenney reflected on a significant moment in American history. She tweeted, "250 years ago, Paul Revere rushed through the streets notifying brave patriots that it was time to fight for their freedom, families, & this great nation. The British ambush of Lexington sounded off the 'shot heard 'round the world' which began the first battle of the most".

Later the same day, Tenney tweeted about immigration policies under the Trump administration, stating, "In less than 100 days since taking office, the Trump administration has deported over 100,000 illegal immigrants. Under President Trump's leadership, violent criminals, including murderers, rapists, & gang members, are being removed from our country. Promises Made = Promises".

In another tweet on April 19, 2025, Tenney announced her introduction of legislation to counter antisemitism, expressing, "ICYMI: I introduced the Countering Hate Against Israel by Federal Contractors Act to combat the BDS movement, which promotes anti-Semitism by targeting Israel's economy. The US should not support any entity that engages in or endorses such actions."

Claudia Tenney was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961 and is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati. She has lived in Canandaigua and has served in public office since 2011, beginning in the New York State Assembly.
