Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district, has been vocal on social media regarding her concerns about national security and crime. In a series of tweets, she addresses issues related to border policies, illegal voting, and rising crime rates.

On October 19, 2024, Rep. Tenney criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' border policies. She stated that these policies "have allowed dangerous criminals into our country," which she claims led to the murder of several individuals including Rachel Morin, Laken Riley, and Jocelyn Nungaray. The full tweet can be accessed here.

Later that day, Rep. Tenney addressed concerns about illegal voting in Maine since 2016. She urged the Senate to pass the SAVE Act to prevent illegal immigrants from voting in future elections. Her tweet is available here.

On October 20, 2024, Rep. Tenney referenced newly released FBI data indicating a rise in violent crime by 4.5% from 2021 to 2022. She criticized Democrats in Albany and Washington D.C., accusing them of promoting anti-police and pro-criminal policies while affirming the House GOP's commitment to prioritize law-abiding citizens and law enforcement efforts.
