Rep. Claudia Tenney, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York's 24th district since 2021, recently shared her views on energy independence, conservative values, and crime issues through a series of tweets. A graduate of Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati, Tenney previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016.

On October 16, 2024, Rep. Tenney emphasized the importance of energy independence for economic growth and global leadership. She stated: "We must achieve energy independence to lower costs, drive economic growth, restore supply chains, and secure America's position as a global economic leader." She called for "unleashing American energy dominance."

Later that day, Rep. Tenney highlighted her commitment to conservative values by announcing an award she received. At 19:12 UTC on October 16, she tweeted: "✅Upholding conservative values ✅Protecting American families ✅Defending religious liberty & individual freedom I am honored to have been awarded the Friend of the Family Award & remain dedicated to fighting for the values #NY24 holds dear in Congress!"

In another tweet posted at 22:16 UTC on October 16, Rep. Tenney addressed concerns about crime in New York State. She noted that "87% of New Yorkers believe that crime is a serious problem in our state," criticizing Albany Democrats for diverting law enforcement funds to political causes. To address this issue, she proposed measures such as ending cashless bail and repealing HALT.
