Claudia Tenney highlights election integrity and international security concerns

Rep. Claudia Tenney, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 24th district, has recently shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Her statements reflect her ongoing commitment to election integrity, international security concerns, and honoring military veterans.

On October 17, 2024, Rep. Tenney expressed her enthusiasm for the Election Observer Program as co-chair of the Election Integrity Caucus. She emphasized the importance of ensuring that only legal votes are counted in elections. "As co-chair of the #ElectionIntegrityCaucus, I am eager to witness the positive impact the Election Observer Program will have on our elections."

The following day, October 18, 2024, she addressed international security issues by highlighting Sweden's call for the European Union to designate Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity due to its involvement in global terrorism. She noted that earlier this year, the House of Representatives passed her resolution encouraging such designation by the EU. "Sweden is now calling for the EU to designate the IRGC as a terrorist entity..."

Later on October 18, Rep. Tenney participated in a Vietnam War Commemorative Pinning Ceremony in Wayne County with forty Vietnam veterans attending. She expressed gratitude for their service and sacrifice on behalf of New York’s 24th district and the nation at large. "Honored to have 40 Vietnam veterans join us today for the Vietnam War Commemorative Pinning Ceremony..."
