Congresswoman Claudia Tenney of New York's 24th District announced her support for the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. The bill, which she co-sponsored, was passed by the House of Representatives with a vote of 389-9.

"The Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act aims to ensure that the men and women who have served our nation receive the high-quality care and services they have earned without unnecessary bureaucracy," Congresswoman Tenney stated.

She emphasized that the legislation is backed by over 40 veterans' organizations and includes significant reforms to improve the Department of Veterans Affairs. The bill seeks to streamline services and benefits crucial for veterans and their families. It also expands home and community-based services at every VA center, enabling veterans to receive care in their own homes.

"This bill is a crucial step toward honoring our promise to those who have served, ensuring they receive the timely, efficient, and comprehensive support they have earned," Tenney added.

The passage of this act represents an effort to modernize and enhance efficiency within the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on improving healthcare, benefits, and services for veterans across the country.
