Claudia Tenney, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 24th district, recently shared her perspectives on several pressing issues through social media. Tenney, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi, used the platform to address topics ranging from homeownership challenges to legislative priorities and local honors.

On November 22, 2024, Tenney expressed concern about the increasing age of first-time homebuyers in the United States. She stated that "The average age of a U.S. homebuyer has hit an all-time high of 56. Younger generations are being shut out of the American Dream." Tenney pledged that under President Trump, Republicans would strive to make homeownership more affordable.

Later on the same day, she addressed legislative matters by urging the Senate to take action on HR 8282, known as the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act. On November 22, she asserted that "The Senate must immediately take up HR 8282, the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act." She emphasized the need for sanctions against International Criminal Court officials perceived as undermining U.S. allies.

In another tweet on November 22, Tenney celebrated a significant recognition for her district. She announced that "#NY24 was officially proclaimed as a Purple Heart Congressional District on the House floor." This designation is meant to honor military heroes and place NY24 on the New York State Purple Heart Trail.
