Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has put forward a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, recognizing President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The nomination highlights their involvement in the Abraham Accords, efforts to promote peace in the Middle East, and actions against terrorist organizations.

According to Congresswoman Tenney, these leaders have played significant roles in achieving historic normalization agreements between Israel and several Arab nations, including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Sudan. These accords are seen as groundwork for potential future agreements with Saudi Arabia.

In recent conflicts involving Israel's self-defense measures, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant were noted for weakening groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah. They also confronted Islamist figures like Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei and Syria's Bashar al-Assad.

Tenney praised their work by stating: “President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and former Defense Minister Gallant’s valiant work to combat terrorism and stand up to Islamist regimes has directly led to greater regional and global stability." She emphasized that their efforts have reduced threats from groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the IRGC.

The congresswoman expressed her hopes that these leaders would join previous Nobel Peace Prize recipients known for championing peace. "I am eager to see these leaders receive the respect, honor, and distinction they richly deserve,” said Congresswoman Tenney.
